Through a new partnership with Moonpay, Bitget Wallet users can now sell 25 major fiat currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, AUD and HKD without relying on centralized communication.
The new service is designed to meet the increased global demand for simplicity, security and direct withdrawal of cryptocurrency holdings while maintaining a complete self-perception. The release also introduced a Fiat withdrawal feature to put it into practice for the first time.

MoonPay provides a standardized payment infrastructure that powers new features. Register as a virtual asset service provider (vasp) In the EU and a currency services business (MSB) in the United States, Moonpay ensures compliance with regulatory standards in its business.
Accessed through Bitget Wallet’s “Sell Encryption” page, users in eligible countries can choose their token and preferred fiat currency before completing transactions through Moonpay’s platform. As part of the process, the user completes the authentication (kyc) and select its withdrawal method through Moonpay, which helps with crypto conversion and fund resolution.

All transactions are authenticated and anti-money laundering checked, and most FIAT withdrawals are processed based on payment method within minutes. Users can monitor their transactions directly in the Bitget wallet and receive real-time updates via email.
The addition of FIAT withdrawals completes the core asset management cycle of Bitget Wallet, thus providing users with the ability to buy, use, and now sell cryptocurrencies within one platform. Users can buy cryptocurrencies directly in Bitget wallets and use their cryptocurrencies for in-app store sections, crypto cards and QR code-based compensation features. For those who tend to convert cryptocurrencies back to Fiat, the new sell feature allows direct withdrawal to supported payment methods.
It is also planned to provide additional fiat currencies and token support for the upcoming release.
