July 2025, 10 years since the launch of Australian FinTech.

Australian FinTech launched the ACE online community platform for Australia’s emerging fintech industry in 2015, when many people didn’t know what “fintech” was. It’s now a global phenomenon, and it’s been years.

As the first fintech community and information platform – and Australia’s longest running fintech news website – we are pleased to say that we are still using the launcher 10 years later!

Personally, I want to thank my Felow co-founder Rob James – the site would have nothing without the original vision and platform building.

Rob and I want to thank everyone who helped inside along the way – Jay James, Gabriela Floreno, Ethan Josephson, Nick Dart, Karim Bassioni and Georgina Josephson.

We want to thank Michelle Jones, Glen Frost, Jen Harrison, Rachel Loncar, Eliza Arrowsmith and many of the many who have helped and supported us since day one.

Apart from those, we have worked with an incredible 250+ PR firms since its launch. Thank you for all your support (and patience!).

Over the years, we have over 500 members on Australian FinTech and they see the value of what we do and support us, which helps the site continue and support them and the industry as a whole. These amazing members and their ongoing support are the backbone of Australian FinTech. We also thank each of you and our future members.

We also have over 100 advertisers – from local startups to global behemoths – to promote and sell their goods and services through our website, social and newsletters. Thanks.

We have published nearly 10,000 articles for over 100 fintech companies that have turned into over 30,000 social media posts and hundreds of newsletters.

As a result, we have attracted more than 50,000 social media followers and more than 5,000 newsletter subscribers.

Deep down, we just hope we can help many fintechs’ promises to Australia and the world and help the entire industry throughout Australia.
